A sovereign being am I
I hold my fate in my hands
Foundations of earth bow to my will
The heavens display my endless presence.
My power has no limit
My wisdom no bounds
My storehouse holds an abundance no one can count
I cannot be mocked.
In My face there is no shame
Yet in my might I was brought down my the smallest of creatures
The sting of his bite consumed me
Filling Me with an infection that continues to spread
The tiny creature began to die – how could this be?
No medicine could release me from My pain
I gave all that I am to save him
He gets up and runs from Me – is he scared of my size?
Can he not see what he means to Me?
I chase him day and night and never weary
Yet he treats Me like I’m the enemy.
I wrote volumes in My Love letter to him that he won’t read
I sent My Spirit to counsel and guide him yet he’s still lost
Who is this tiny creature? Of course he’s man
And I AM
