A graduate of the University of Idaho (BSME), James is on a lifelong quest to complete his Master of Divinity and is currently enrolled at The North American Reformed Seminary. A man who has worn many hats, James has served as a design engineer, operations planner, global marketing director, and a publisher, but his true love is preaching God’s Word and ministering to God’s people. He enjoys strong coffee and what some consider to be odd food – from anything Cajun to shark, crawfish, sushi, elk, ostrich. . . the list goes on and on. Thankfully, his wife Stacy is a wonderful cook, who could make cardboard taste like bruschetta. Stacy is a pastor’s wife, mother, grandma, conference speaker, co-author of Passionate Housewives Desperate for God, and author of Raising Maidens of Virtue. While traveling with her family, she has had the privilege of encouraging women all over the globe on issues pertaining to marriage, homemaking, feminism, chastity, and feminine deportment.

January 17 Aaron Shust-It wasn’t the typical way to record an album, with your producer in Nashville and you in Alquippa, Pennsylvania. With your wife and two-year old son living in the hospital where your son is being fed through tubes because he can’t keep down any food or drink for more than two seconds and the doctors running out of options to treat him. With your older son farmed out to friends for days at a time, and your grandmother dying, and you sitting in the car in her driveway late at night, singing your scratch vocals into your cell phone to send to your producer. It’s not the script you would have written for yourself, but it’s the story you find yourself in the middle of, and somewhere, in the midst of the chaos, you find something else as well. You find that you’ve become acutely aware of the reality of your utter dependency upon God and of the need to daily, constantly, embrace his promises and his presence. As an artist whose globe-trotting career already spans more than ten years and includes multiple Dove Awards as well as the most played song on Christian radio for the last eight years (My Savior, My God), Aaron Shust has always been willing to follow wherever the journey took him.

November 29 Terri Stellrecht-From attending church as a child, Terri knew plenty about the Bible and salvation, but never had an intimate relationship with God. Watching God transform her father in the last few weeks of his life forced Terri to ask who God was to her as well. Her dad’s final words prompted encouragement and prayer: “Terri, nothing is more important than God.” Terri and her husband Rob answered Christ’s call in their lives shortly afterward and discovered there was lots of Kingdom work to be done. After rearing three fantastic children, God placed adoption on their hearts and they added two more. One of their biggest goals is to raise their children up to recognize God’s call in their own lives so they can see the face of Jesus in Heaven some day. The realization of this had more implications than the Stellrechts could have ever dreamed, as a tragic accident claimed the life of their twelve-year-old son Trent. Discover the testimony of Terri and her family this Tuesday night on Christian Devotions Speak UP! You can also follow the Stellrecht family through Terri’s blog at http://ourcrazyfarm.blogspot.com.
