Carlton Hughes wears many hats and tries to find the funny in life. By day, he is a professor of communication and journalism. On Wednesdays and Sundays, he serves as a children’s pastor. In his “spare time,” he is a freelance writer, speaker, and storyteller. His work has been featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul, The Wonders of Nature, Just Breathe, So God Made a Dog, Simple Little Words, and Everyday Grace for Men. He has also written for Focus on the Family. His latest book, Adventures in Fatherhood, is co-authored with Holland Webb, is from Ellie Claire/Hachette Publishing. Carlton also enjoys dressing up as crazy characters and making videos for his children’s ministry. He once made actress Emilia Clarke laugh. Carlton is an Area Coordinator for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.
