Healing through Forgiveness

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9 NIV

We feel pressured and trapped, as though the world is against us. We find power by forgiving others and refusing to carry around this burden by not forgiving ourselves and others. We see others who forgive and watch as they experience a sense of peace and comfort.

Forgiveness releases us from toxic mindsets and situations and brings healing in all aspects of life. Unforgiveness, however, limits us from receiving breakthroughs that cause delays in our destiny.

Seeing ourselves as victims can leave us with mental scars and triggers. Confession helps us take back our lives and be liberated by the blood of the Lamb. Confession helps us forgive and release others. We then follow this with repentance and forgiveness. One way to heal the mind is to profess declarations in the atmosphere by speaking the word daily. Examples are: My home is blessed, My family is blessed, and I am healed in Jesus’ name.

Find your healing through forgiveness.
