Just Trust

Be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid of them and don’t be frightened, because the Lord your God will go with you. He will not leave you or forget you.  Deuteronomy 31:6 NCV

We have lost two clients in the past year, and the owner struggled to attract new clients. I don’t know how this will end, although I hope a great outcome will occur.

Until then, I must be strong and brave and believe the Lord will not forget me. I should remember how the Lord got me out of bleak situations in the past. When I first started working, I worked as a production assistant at a cable TV company and a grocery store. Although I lost my job at the grocery store, I was offered a full-time job at the cable company on the same day. I also remember when a landlord wanted to raise my rent more than I could afford, but the Lord gave me a place to live for less money.

Things are going to fall apart in this world. When they do, we must believe that the Lord has not forgotten us and will not leave us. We should hope that someday we will live in a world where we can’t get fired, and no landlords will exist.

When you go through a trial, don’t fret. Be strong and brave.
