While I welcomed my home delivery driver, I shared my senior smile and wished him an awesome day. He smiled cheerfully as usual and replied, “Have a beautiful day!” He drove away, waving. He was a lovely young man. I thought how delightful to see a friendly smile as I puttered around here, sparkling some housework. I also enjoyed giving a Jesus smile.
I unwrapped my parcel and rejoiced that there are some lovely people of any age in our world. It reminded me of the above verse. To me, this verse means we can all smile and enjoy happy souls because Jesus is still smiling at all His beloved who follow His teachings.
When we meet someone enjoying their beautiful day, we can sense Jesus smiling through all these years, sharing joyful hearts, and staying forever young. Love and kindness can have many beautiful faces and appear in many formats.
Some days can be tough, and all our tomorrows can be a mystery. Yet we can still rejoice and welcome our Lord in prayers and smiles with words. Yes, for my next courier, I shall spread the message of inspiration, smiling in words, “Have a beautiful day.”
This simple phrase can reward us all on earth and in heaven. We can all smile because Jesus smiles across all our years. Share Jesus’ smile with someone today.
