God Used Them

And God heard their groaning; and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Issac, and with Jacob, and God saw the Israelites, and God knew.  Exodus 2:24 CSB

I once read that God never separates His presence from His process. Words such as heard, remembered, and knew are what stand out in this verse. I googled knew, and it led to words such as perceive, recognize, and acknowledge.

Pharaoh had enslaved the Israelites, but God sent Moses to deliver them (Exodus 2:24 CSB). God knew exactly where they were, and He perceived what they couldn’t. He laid the groundwork to show them what they needed—as He does with us.

We can find God in every moment if we listen to His voice. But if we don’t know who He is, we won’t know who will guide us. We must seek God every day and decide that He is the one we will walk with.

The covenant God made in Genesis involved the promised Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the Savior for all future generations. It reminds us that living here on earth isn’t just for us; it is for all those who don’t know Jesus.

Think of times God has used to point you to Jesus. Perhaps He is stirring something within you that yearns to know Him better.
