What makes me so sad is that so many issues don’t please God. One of them is people not valuing life, especially life in the womb. Additionally, we have political candidates who mock Christians.
In one instance, I was on the streets at a public event. I met a woman and quoted John 3:16 to her. I told her that if she did not come to Jesus, she would go to hell. She got mad at me. I saw her later as she was leaving, and she yelled at me that she did not want to go to hell.
The above verses relate to the last days on this earth and how people will live (Luke 17:26-27). Things in this world will get worse. But we can do something about these problems. I participate in street witnessing every week. When I do street witnessing, I ask people, “What do you think about Jesus?” The name of Jesus is powerful. His name will not return void.
We need to care about this world. We don’t all have to do street witnessing. Maybe you could hand out one Christian tract a day. Be an advocate for Jesus today.
