While reading my messages, I was delighted with the good news from my friend. Ninety years young and keeping strong, she provided spiritual guidance when I first met her in my church. Mary would visit and share how she stayed strong. After she retired from her workplace, she decided to follow an enlightened journey. Despite her family’s objections, her missionary path led her to build faith in Jesus in an African orphanage. Living there was very basic, but she read, as I now do, how to build faith.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and His almighty power. My understanding of this text is that Paul’s message to the faith community in Ephesus remains relevant today. Christians in any land must stand strong to build staunch faith as they follow the inspirational principles of Jesus. As he was being persecuted in Rome, Paul stayed strong and pursued his mission for his multicultural Christian communities to remain strong also.
Retired from my part-time occupation in education, I treasure this text as I choose to use the power of my pen (now a keyboard) to build strong faith in the Lord Jesus, both online and in my local faith community. I aim to write Jesus’ message as one of the believers across this multicultural world. This is my part of shaping better tomorrows with a strong acceptance of the differences of each person. Jesus’ great sacrifice on the cross builds our strength for kindness and support in our churches and encourages the building of our strong faith. In this way, we might see a new, peaceful dawn for humanity.
Think of things you can do to build faith in yourself and others.
